Sarah is the daughter of NWA Maxwell whos' sire was the famous Peruvian Hemingway G171 and our foundation female Mimi of the Shire. Sarah looks like a vicuna in both conformation and fleece characteristics. She may qualify for a Paco-Vicuna registry. Sarah has produced 4 crias for us, all of different colors, and all of them have been easy keepers like their mom and easy to handle.
Description
WHA Reno is a white with color in his background, and he has at least one brown spot. He has Hemingway, Felix, Starr Kahn, and Vengador in his background, so we expect him to produce high quality crias. He is very dense with well defined tight crimp, and his fleece is very soft. He produced over 8.5 pounds of fleece when sheared on June 29, 2012. His temperament in more stand-offish than many of our boys, but he is easy to catch and work with. Since we have cut back on our breedings we need to find a good home for him. Based on his bloodlines he could be a real sleeper.
His 2014 fleece stats are: AFD - 25.2 , SD - 6.8 , CV - 27.1, and 16.4% > 30. He was an 8 year old male at this point, so a low grade 4 fleece is pretty nice. His 2017 fleece stats, at 10+ years is: AFD: 27.7 , SD: 6.9 , and CV: 19.5; still a grade 4 with little change from his 8 year old fleece.
