Satin Silk’s name says it all. She has a soft, silky, bright black fleece with excellent conformation. Silk's sire is our outstanding true black 8x Champion Estates Satin Cloud, a well structured, proud male with a very handsome head. Satin Cloud is out of the one and only, Snowmass Satin Reserve XX and Premier's Adriana. This may be your rare opportunity to get a Satin Cloud progeny since he is in quarantine, heading for Europe.

Her dam, Sevilla is a lovely dark brown female out of Patagonia’s Vittorio (who was recently evaluated to have 24-26 micron at almost 12 yrs. old by Cheryl Gehly, very good having absence of guard hair, brightness, uniformity of color, & above average with a lovely handle, character/crimp, density & weight/harvest.) Silk's paternal grandsire is the legendary, Nishio!

Silk comes with a breeding of any black herdsire at Alpaca Country Estates. We suggest Patagonia Estates Sakima, 5X Black Color Champion, but the choices may include other finishing males such as Patagonia’s Chief, Snowmass Royal Knight, or Snowmass Rock Star XX.
