Description

Bella Luna is a treasured Snowmass Quechua daughter who has brought a line of highly prized breeding genetics to the Snowmass breeding program. Her 2012 male offspring was so valued that Snowmass Alpacas traded one of their prize Champion Conopa sons to J Creek Ranch, for half interest in Snowmass Luna Del Amore.

Bella Luna's sire, Snowmass Quechua has an impressive show career. He received the 2002 Futurity White Color Champion; 2006 & 2007 Futurity Herd Sire of the Year; 2006 International 1st & 2nd place Get of Sire and 2006 AOBA Nationals 1st place Get of Sire. Snowmass Alpacas said, "Snowmass Quechua was a unique and exquisite stud male derived from our intensive and dedicated breeding program and no doubt the "ideal" representation of all that we strive to breed into our alpacas."

On 10/7/08, Bella Luna gave birth to a good-looking white male sired by Snowmass Satin King.

On 10/14/09, Bella Luna had an attractive beige male sired by Snowmass Touche'. SNOWMASS TOUCHE OF CLASS received several ribbons for fleece in 2013.

On 6/2/11, Bella Luna had a nice looking beige male out of Snowmass Moondance.

On 7/29/12, Bella Luna gave birth to a handsome white male sired by Snowmass Victory Valor. SNOWMASS LUNA DEL AMOR XX won white Color Champion & 1st Place at the 2013 AlpacaMania show

On 7/26/13, Bella Luna had a good-looking white male sired by Snowmass Seven Below. SNOWMASS ABSOLUTE ZERO won 1st Place at the 2014 Alpacapalooza show.

On 7/10/14, Bella Luna gave birth to a lovely female also sired by Snowmass Seven Below.

On 9/14/15, Bella Luna had a nice-looking white male sired by Accoyo America Arctic Warrior. J CREEK QUECHUA'S ARCTIC WARRIOR received several ribbons during the 2016 show season.

On 6/24/2017, Bella Luna gave birth to a handsome white male sired by our amazing champion producer, Snowmass Pure Passion. J CREEK VELAR has top 5% EPD's in 2020.

On 8/18/2020, Bella Luna presented us with ESTATES MAJESTIC BELLA LUNA II, a beautiful white female sired by multi-champion Snowmass Majesty in Moonlight.
