Dorothy is a farm favorite. She is a big true black with white markings, including polkadots. She has retained her fineness and in 2017 she still had an AFD of only 22.6, a grade 2.
We never showed Dorothy, but bred her twice, getting two females; both rose greys. Dorothy comes from a blue eyed white female, so we were pretty careful with her breedings to get dark eyed offspring. He nice demeanor has been passed on to her offspring.
Description
This girl is a powerhouse of famous Peruvian imports, including Royal Fawn, Victor, Hemingway, Augusto, and Felix. She showed as a Medium Rose Grey, and she has white markings on her face and chest. Sheherazade is an eye-catching female with a nice temperament, though she is somewhat stand-offish.
Sheherazade has produced two offspring for us; a fawn female and a white male. Her last male was a blue eyed white who is now turning two and has sold. Both offspring exhibit nice fine fleece. Sheherazade's fleece in 2019 had an AFD of 19.6, an SD of 3.9, a CV of 19.7, and a % over 30 of 2.3. This was as a 9 year old, so she is retaining her fineness.
As we are not breeding as many females any more, she needs to go to a good home where she can be more useful.
